About Virtual Training

Your CAPM® Exam, PMBOK® Guide, and Agile Practice Guide
We include all materials for exam preparation in your course fee. It’s important to note that your CAPM® examination fee is not included. This must be paid to the PMI® upon submitting your exam application.
Examination fee of €185 for PMI® members and €250 for non-members (paid directly to the PMI)®. (This is an indicative cost. Please check www.pmi.org for current details.)
You will need a copy of both for your training, study, and exam preparation. While we strongly recommend that you have your copy of each in time for our exam preparation training, you can join the training without it. It will, however be essential for your study following training. We will point you in the direction of the best stockists during your booking process.

Frequently Asked Questions
This is an intensive exam preparation course for those who want to achieve a CAPM® certification. Over 5 days, we cover sections of the PMBOK® Guide and Agile Practice Guide to provide you with guidelines on studying and applying for the CAPM® exam.
There are 4 important steps involved in achieving your CAPM® Certification:
- Attend training: Begin your exam preparation, learn from experienced trainers, and get the required 23 hours of formal project management training you need to apply for your exam.
- Study for your exam: The next step is a study period. This takes an average of 6 weeks (although it can vary depending on how much time you can dedicate to study each week).
- Apply for your exam: Usually completed during the study period. Complete the CAPM® exam application and submit it to the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. They will review your application over several days.
- Sit your exam: Once you have been approved by the PMI®, you can pay your exam fee and schedule your exam. You have 1 year to complete your exam from the date you receive approval from the PMI®. To help you pass first time, we strongly recommend sitting your exam immediately following your study period.

CAPM® Certification is suitable for those who are new to, or do not have much experience with project management.
There are some basic requirements for those who wish to sit the CAPM® Exam:
- Requirement 1: A High School Diploma (Leaving certificate will meet this requirement)
- Requirement 2: 23 hours of formal project management education or 1,500 hours of project management experience.

CAPM® Certification and the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Credential are both awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.
The syllabus covered for both exams is the same and we run our PMP® Exam Preparation Course and CAPM® Exam Preparation Courses together.
There are 2 key differences between the qualifications:
- CAPM® Certifications do not need any project management experience. Applicants for the PMP® exam must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience (other criteria apply).
- The exams differ in content and level of difficulty.
