This PRINCE2® Course is intensive exam preparation that will prepare you to sit both the Foundation, 7th Edition and Practitioner, 7th Edition exams. Our goal is that you will understand the five integrated elements of the PRINCE2® method which include Project Context, Principles, People, Practices and Processes and feel confident that you can achieve your PRINCE2® Certification.
In line with changes in project management environments, this latest edition of PRINCE2® includes added concepts including sustainability, data management and commercial management. People Management is featured as central to the method. Four example scenarios spanning a range of sectors are used throughout.
How we run this PRINCE2® Course:
We include all resources you need to achieve PRINCE2® Certification: 5 days of live virtual training, an e-book of the official PeopleCert PRINCE2® manual, course materials, practice exam questions and answers plus your PeopleCert proctored exam vouchers.
The programme is linked back to each of the four example project scenarios as you progress through the training.
Days 1 – 3 focus on the Foundation syllabus and examination preparation. Days 4 & 5 cover the practitioner syllabus and examination preparation. You can schedule and sit your online exams when you feel ready.

Understanding the PRINCE2® Framework

A Break Between Certifications
This course is delivered with a short gap between Days 1 - 3 and Days 4 & 5 (usually a few days). This is to enable participants to study and sit their Foundation exam between the Foundation and Practitioner levels.
Exam Flexibility:
You can schedule and sit your online exam when you feel ready. Most students complete their Foundation exam in the break between Days 1 - 3 and Days 4 & 5, and the Practitioner exam when training is completed.

This PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Course is available in 2 formats: Public live on-line classroom and In-company (live on-line or in person as you prefer).
Public: Live on line training that you connect to on-line from wherever you’re located.
In-company: We deliver the course to your team only. This can be in any style (in-person classroom or live on line For classroom training, we come to your location.
You can access our live virtual courses online from anywhere in the world. We provide you with a link to join the classroom 2-3 days before the training starts.
This course takes place over 5 days. Each day runs from 9.30am – 5.00pm.
We include a gap between Days 1 - 3 and Days 4 & 5. We will give you a listing of all dates when you get in touch to book your place.
Here is our effective format for PRINCE2® certification:
- Our course is 5 days in length. You will complete both the Foundation and Practitioner level exams during classroom training. Virtual training students will schedule and sit their exams online outside of training days.
- Note: You will need to allow time for study each evening during training.
- Once you have passed your exams, you will receive your PRINCE2® certification from PeopleCert, on behalf of AXELOS.
Using our format, it is possible to get PRINCE2® certified within 2 weeks. This depends on the time you allocate for study and on your exam slot.
This course has an exam preparation focus, meaning that it is very intensive and theoretical in style.
Although you will certainly gain knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2® framework, you will spend a high proportion of time during training concentrating on exam preparation.
You must renew your certifications every 3 years. You can maintain your certification in one of the following 3 ways:
- 1. retake its exam before the renewal date.
- 2. collect and log professional development points via PeopleCert’s MyAxelos membership platform.
- 3. take further PeopleCert certifications before the renewal date.
There are 2 things we ensure all delegates know before the course begins:
- You will need to allow time for study every evening during training. With this in mind, we recommend keeping other commitments during the course to a minimum where possible.
- This is an exam preparation course. As such, it is quite intensive and does not incorporate a lot of practical work.
There are no official experience requirements set out by PeopleCert for those working towards PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner certifications.
Although we sometimes have participants with no project management experience, we have found that some familiarity with a project management environment is helpful.
Exams are taken outside of training hours.
Most students sit their Foundation exam in the gap between Days 1 - 3 and Days 4 & 5. We strongly recommend this approach. Following training, you'll schedule and sit your online Practitioner exam when ready.
