- Be prepared to sit your PRINCE2® Practitioner exam.

Essential Information about this PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner Course
Please take a few moments to read through these important points related to booking your place on our PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner exam preparation course.
- You must be recently PRINCE2® 7 Foundation Certified, based on official PeopleCert manual “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®, Seventh Edition”
- If your PRINCE2® Foundation Certification pre-dates this you will need to attend our full 5-day course. You will not have to re-sit the Foundation exam.
- You will be joining a programme where the delegates have been fully immersed in the methodology for 3 days of PRINCE2® Foundation training prior to your start date.
- It is vitally important that you re-familiarise yourself with the PRINCE2® Foundation material before attending.
- You will need to bring along your copy of your manual "Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®, Seventh Edition" on both days of training.
- You will need to set aside time in the evenings during the course to study and prepare for your PRINCE2® Practitioner Exam.
- Once you have completed training, you will need to schedule and sit your online proctored exam (included in your course price).

What is the difference between PRINCE2® Practitioner and PRINCE2® Foundation?
PRINCE2® Foundation is the first level of PRINCE2® certification. Once you have completed PRINCE2® Foundation, you can progress to Practitioner level if you wish.
- The syllabus for the PRINCE2® Foundation exam focuses on providing you with an understanding of how PRINCE2® works and giving you the skills you need to be able to work as part of a PRINCE2® team.
- At Practitioner level, you’ll cover more about how PRINCE2® can be tailored to fit a project’s specific requirements.

There are no formal “experience” eligibility requirements for those attending this course.
However, it is important that you have achieved your PRINCE2® Foundation Certification based on the official manual, “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® publication, Seventh Edition”.
This is an intensive exam preparation course, where you will join a group of participants who will be following on from completing the 3-day training and exam for PRINCE2® Foundation.
It’s crucial to re-familiarise yourself with the Foundation course materials before your attend.
It’s also important to allow time for study in the evenings during training.
You must bring your copy of “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® publication, Seventh Edition” on both days of training.
At the end of each 3-year cycle, you will need to renew your PRINCE2® Practitioner qualification.
You can do this by re-sitting the exam, gaining and logging professional development points within PeopleCert's MyAxelos membership platform, or completing another PeopleCert certification.
One of these actions must be completed before the renewal date in order to maintain your Practitioner certification.
With our approach, achieving your Practitioner qualification is a 3-step process:
- Step 1: Complete pre-course revision
Before your Practitioner course dates begin, you will need to re-familiarise yourself with your Foundation level materials. - Step 2: Training and Study
Attend our 2-day Practitioner course, allowing time for study on the evening following Day 1 of training. - Step 3: Exam and Certification
If you are attending a classroom course, your exam will take place in the afternoon on Day 2 of training. If you are attending virtual training, you will schedule your online exam when you are ready following training. Once you pass the exam, you will receive your PRINCE2® Practitioner Certification.
The process takes 2 days plus the time required for your pre-course revision of Foundation course materials, plus the time it takes to complete your exam.
